Kids and Families at Altshul

Altshul is aims to provide meaningful and engaging experiences for all ages, including our youngest community members. Our current programs are described below. Please reach out if you have ideas for a kids program you’d like to organize.

Kindershul

Kindershul is a fun, child-centered service that meets on Shabbat morning and many holidays. This service is intended for children younger than 6. It is a musical, engaging service led by educators from Tkiya. Children are accompanied by parents at this service.

Junior Minyan

Altshul is in the process of envisioning new programming for kids over the age of 6. Please reach out to leadership@altshul.org if you’d like to help with this!

B’nai Mitzvah

For information about B'nai Mitzvah at Altshul please visit the B’Mitzvah Page, or email leadership@altshul.org.

Please note, we only host B’nai Mitzvah for children whose families are part of Altshul well before their B’Mitzvah date.
